Sun Dried Tomato

Sun-Dried Tomatoes have a rich, sweet, tangy, and intensely concentrated tomato flavour. They are a versatile ingredient that adds depth to Mediterranean, Italian, and gourmet dishes.

Store dry sun-dried tomatoes in an airtight container in a cool, dry place away from heat and moisture. Oil-packed sun-dried tomatoes should be refrigerated after opening and used according to the package instructions.

• 2–4 tablespoons (20–40 g) for salads, pasta, or rice dishes.

• ¼–½ cup (30–60 g) for sauces, baking, or recipes serving 4–6 people.

• If using dried (not oil-packed) sun-dried tomatoes, soak them in warm water for 15–20 minutes before use to soften.
